ELITE PRO WRESTLING ALLIANCE SELLS OUT AGAIN WITH 476 FANS!!!

"NIGHT OF THE ELITE 2", the second event held by the Elite Pro Wrestling Alliance was held this past friday, August 21st at the Elite Pro Wrestling Training Center in Short Gap / Ridgeley, WV. The show exceeded the already high expectations of both fans and management alike with the building once again selling out in spite of extra space being provided, which allowed 476 fans to have the opportunity to enjoy what Elite Pro has to offer!

MATCH 1
"HIGHWAYMAN" LESLIE LEATHERMAN vs. "YOUNG GUN" JASON RIGGS
The show opened with heavily technical and athletic contest between the 11 year veteran Leslie Leatherman and the man that took Elite Pro Champion Jake "The Machine" Davis to the limit at "Night of the Elite 1", "Young Gun" Jason Riggs. This match had more than it's fair share of highlights, including an unbelievable top rope moonsault as well as crossbody over the top landing approx. 20 ft. down the entrance onto Leatherman by Riggs! Leatherman was able to withstand the highflying arsenal of Riggs and eventually executed his signature "Leatherman Drop" for the 1-2-3.
WINNER: "HIGHWAYMAN" LESLIE LEATHERMAN at 11:23

MATCH 2
FLEX FENOM vs. THE GHETTO ROCKSTAR
After an attack from behind on Flex Fenom at "Night of the Elite 1" in June, The Ghetto Rockstar came to the ring and quickly grabbed the mic taunting how Fenom couldn't "represent". Once Fenom hit the ring, it was all business with both men going at it tooth and nail. In the end, Fenom did indeed prove that he had what it takes to "represent" by defeating the Ghetto Rockstar via pinfall.
WINNER: FLEX FENOM at 6:47

MATCH 3
"THE LIVING NIGHTMARE" GRIFFEN vs. JACK STYLES
Dr. Douglas Crane's Griffen watched from inside the ring while Jack Styles was announced. Once he stepped in the ring, his confidence seemingly got the better of him as he slapped Griffen accross the face. "The Living Nightmare" responded with a quick beatdown culminating in an F-5 finisher for the victory. After the bell, Griffen peeled young Styles off the mat for a 2nd (and completely uncalled for) F-5 before leaving the ring.
WINNER: "THE LIVING NIGHTMARE" GRIFFEN at 3:16

MATCH 4
"HACKSAW" JIM DUGGAN vs. "THE FINAL VERDICT" VINCE VEGAThe wrestling legend and future WWE Hall of Famer "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan made his way to the ring to the sound of 470+ screaming fans chanting U-S-A, U-S-A!!! Once Vega entered the ring, both men locked up, with Ol' Hacksaw getting the better of the exchange. Vince repeatedly tried to regroupe outside the ring, even going so far as to head for the locker room in an attempt to frustrate the WWE legend. Finally, Vega got in the ring and was able to put some offence together on the WWE Superstar using questionable but effective tactics. Just when things seemed to be going Vega's way, "Hacksaw" was able to mount a comeback with the help of an extremely supportive EPWA crowd getting behind him! Duggan regained control and brought the sellout crowd to their feet with his trademark "3-point stance clothesline" finisher for the pinfall victory!
WINNER: "HACKSAW" JIM DUGGAN at 8:59

MATCH 5
SINISTER CROSS vs. MOJO THE SPIDERMONKEY
A true "David & Goliath" story that saw Mojo the Spidermonkey face the much larger Sinister Cross along with his manager and handler, Dr. Douglas Crane. Mojo managed to mount a serious amount of offence and even managed to administer his popular 619 finisher! Mojo went to the top rope and landed a flying sidekick that thrust Cross backwards, leaving his arms tied in the ropes! Dr. Crane climbed into the ring in an attempt to free Cross. The Spidermonkey got Crane's attention and out of pure frustration, the demented psychiatrist ran towards Mojo swinging his cane. Mojo side stepped Crane, tripping him and leaving him lined up for the 619! Just as Mojo hit the ropes, Cross managed to free himself and administer a remorseless kick to the face. Cross' "Death Drop" finisher followed and the victory was secured.
WINNER: SINISTER CROSS at 10:23

MATCH 6
"HIGH TIDE" BODIE WILLIAMS & "SABERTOOTH" TYLER vs. TEAM COBRA KAIUpon entering the ring, it became obvious to everyone the Bodie was injured. On crutches, it was revealed that a sneak attack earlier from Team Cobra Kai left "Sabertooth" without a partner. As The Cobra Kai prepared for what they believed to be an easy 2 on 1 match, it was announced that "Sabertooth" found himself another partner, FLEX FENOM! The charasmatic Fenom made his way to the ring and the two teams battled for 20+ minutes before the team of Flex and Sabertooth secured the victory!
WINNERS: FLEX FENOM & SEAN TYLER at 20:13

MATCH 7
JAKE "THE MACHINE" DAVIS vs. MAN-THING w/ DR. CRANE
In the 2nd half of the double main event, Man-Thing charged the ring with his chainsaw blazing through the crowd and throwing chairs in the ring. Dr. Crane commendeared the mic and questioned the champion's "guts", stating "If you are really an "Elite" world champion, you won't mind defending that title in a "No DQ match")! Jake "The Machine" Davis told the crowd that he has never backed down from a challenge and that the match would now be a no DQ match! The battle saw action both in and out of the ring with the use of steel chairs and tables! Manthing utilized his unpredictable style to put Davis through an unbelieveable amount of punishment including Crane demanding a section of ring-side fans to vacate their seats allowing "The Machine" to be whipped over & into several rows of chairs!! After ManThing ended up being put through a table in the middle of the ring, the match ended with "The Machine" diving off the top rope with a steel chair in hand and dropping a devastating elbow with the chair plastering Man-Thing in the face. Davis then got the 1-2-3 to retain the Elite Pro Wrestling Alliance Championship.
WINNER: JAKE "THE MACHINE" DAVIS at 13:53
